Security Issues in Qualcomm and MediaTek Products
A security vulnerability was detected in a September 2024 report released by Qualcomm and MediaTek. The vulnerabilities reported and shared by the National Cyber Incident Response Center (USOM) affect many devices. USOM has noted that due to these security flaws, affected systems could potentially be compromised, and has shared the CVE codes for the affected devices.
These security issues, which are said to have been addressed with the September 2024 security update, appeared in some Qualcomm and MediaTek products. Updates should be installed if they are released, as the vulnerabilities affect Android 14, Android 13, and Android 12 operating systems. Here are the CVE codes for the affected devices:
